THE FASTING MONTH

Fasting month is going to end and Eid is just around the corner. I still remember the first day of Ramadan, my friends and I are eager to prepare our own meal. The thing that we planned did not turn out like what we expectated. We just wasted our money to cook and we spoiled the ingredients. We finally bought another food at bazaar.
The preparation for the Eid this year has been done earlier. Last week we went to PKNS to buy a ready made baju kurung. We were there from morning till the time to break fast. As we did not reserve any place at pizza Hut, we ended up breaking fast at Nachos. The foods there were not nice as in the menu but we finished the food as we are so hungry and tired.
This year, I do not have much time to perform solat terawih since my schedule is very pack. I have class to be attended until 10 o’clock. My resolution for this Ramadan is to train myself to be a good Moslem. Fasting is just like preparing me to reduce my food intake as well as improve my health. I will train myself to spend less during this month as much as I could. I used to go to bazaar Ramadan. From my observation, some of sellers use this month as advantage to rise up the foods’ price. Some of the food price is unreasonable. For instance a small jug of air tebu can cost around RM5.
Until today, I still do not have a chance to break fast with my family but I just hope the last 4 days of Ramadan. I miss my mum’s cook very much and I can’t wait to go back to my hometown as soon as possible.
